Setting clear goals and measuring success are a key part of every client’s coaching programme.
I use a combination of external and internal measures to assess the success of a coaching programme.
External measures will include things that the client is likely to be measuring already and has some ability to directly influence, e.g. increased income/revenue, obtaining a promotion or improved performance feedback.
Internal measures can include changes in the client's self-awareness and awareness of others, shifts in thinking that create more effective actions and shifts in the client’s emotional state that inspire confidence.
